Today is the first deadline for FSU. It's also a good time to re-evaluate where you are--you have two weeks to make up any missing assignments, and the rest of the month to finish those last-minute college essays that might be due by the next major deadline (for some of you, November 1, and for others, December 1.)

THERE IS NO SCHOOL TODAY.

I am using the weekend to catch up on make-up work and lesson plans, and I hope you do something analogous. Homecoming Week is next week and the pace is only going to become more frenetic. If you feel that you are drowning (I sympathize, trust me) send up a flare. We're here to help, if we can. Be well, peeps.
