AP Literature: Work sessions, both periods.

Gifted IV: Exams are graded. Everyone passed. (Some, barely.)

Gifted II: Review The Elements of Style. Work on draft of creative letter. If time: grammar review.

There is a faculty meeting after school today to meet our new principal. I am available for help before school and during sixth period, but not after school due to this meeting.

Writing Center is open today.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  • Writing Center party and paper-plate awards will be during both lunch shifts on Thursday.
  • The Rome party will be at Natalie Henry's house this Saturday at 3 p.m. Bring double prints of your pictures, and fond memories!!! All participants and families are welcome! I will have a map to distribute tomorrow.
  • Seniors--Graduation Assembly is at 10 a.m. on Friday morning. DON'T MISS THIS.

AP Literature: We can't talk about the test yet, but congratulations for surviving the experience. Today we will go over the requirements for the final exam and collect the last of the focus papers.

Gifted IV: Review for the final exam, which is scheduled for Tuesday morning.

Gifted II: Finish questions for the Schindler packet and discuss college plans.

TODAY IS THE ADVANCED PLACEMENT LITERATURE EXAM.

Period 1: Sean, your soul is mine.

Period 2: Questions on Frank O'Connor's short story, and the final writing assignment.

Period 3/4: Finish looking at the shooting script from Schindler and assessing the questions at the end.

Wow. I can't believe this year is coming to an end.

Today is the AP Statistics Exam. I hope that all calculus students did well yesterday and feel good about where they are!

Focus papers due today for AP students NOT taking Stats or Calc. Otherwise, they are due Friday.

Tuesday, it must be Belgium

Academic Awards Ceremony is tonight at 7 p.m. in the BHS auditorium.

Can you believe it's AP week already? Goodness.

Today is the Advanced Placement Language and Composition Exam for juniors; good luck, guys!

My schedule:

AP Lit: 1st period watch Taming of the Shrew; 5th finish review. Return AP Practice Tests and confer privately with any of you who are hyperventilating.

Gifted IV: Finish "Prufrock" and look at "The Hollow Men" by T. S. Eliot. Tomorrow: "My Oedipus Complex" by Frank O'Connor.

Gifted II: THE WAVE IS UPON US. Strength through discipline! Strength through community!

Tomorrow is the AP Calc test. Good luck, math scholars!!!
